Down the Hole (DTH) Hammers, also called down-the-hole drill hammers, are core percussion drilling tools widely used in foundation engineering, mining, and geological exploration.

They work by transmitting high-frequency impact force directly to the drill bit through an internal piston, breaking rock efficiently without energy loss, suitable for both shallow and deep drilling in various strata.

As a versatile and efficient drilling tool, DTH hammers combine percussion and rotation functions, playing a key role in improving drilling efficiency and reducing construction costs in hard rock and complex stratum projects.

Product Classification

By power source: Pneumatic DTH hammer (most widely used, powered by compressed air) and hydraulic DTH hammer (for large rigs, stable output and low noise).

By pressure grade: Low-pressure (0.6-1.2 MPa, for soft to medium rock), medium-pressure (1.2-1.8 MPa, for general hard rock), high-pressure (1.8-2.5 MPa, for hard rock and deep drilling).
